The first thing you need to know about how to share screen on FaceTime is how to move the pointer to the content you want to share. In most cases, you can share the entire screen, or you can just move the pointer to the content you want to share. If you want to stop sharing, you need to click the “Stop Sharing” button. You will be able to change the settings after the share is complete.
SharePlay

If the other person does not want to join, you can end the session at any time.
Split-screen view
If you want to use Facetime in split-screen mode, there are some simple steps to accomplish this. You need to open System Preferences and tap the Displays option. Make sure to select each Display, and then drag the grey upper part to the opposite side. This option will allow you to adjust the width of the window and change the apps that are on each side. Alternatively, you can just drag an item between the two sides.
First, you need to open the Facetime app. On your iPhone, go to the App Store. Click Facetime in the App Store, then go to the Settings menu. Click Split View. Tap on the options you want. You can also change the resolution and display size. If you prefer a smaller display, you can try moving your index finger farther apart from your thumb. Face ID-enabled devices must swipe up from the bottom.

Once you have shared your screen with someone, the Picture in Picture window appears on the screen. When you switch between apps while on FaceTime, the PiP window appears on the right side of the screen. When you switch from FaceTime to another app, the PiP window will return to its original position. To hide the PiP window, simply swipe off the screen. In case you do not want to share your screen with a stranger, you can swipe off the screen and then hide the PiP window.
