If you’re planning to buy a PS5 and have yet to find any, you’re not alone. If you’re in the same situation as me, you’re probably wondering whether GameStop will ever restock. The good news is that it’s a common occurrence. Here’s what you need to know about restocking at your local Gamestop. This is great news if you want to get the game you’ve been eyeing.
GameStop restock
When is the next GameStop PS5 restock? The PS5 is set to release in November, and GameStop is restocking its stores. The restock event will begin at the start of each store’s opening hour, which could be as early as 8 a.m. local time. To participate in the restock, you must have a PowerUp Reward Pro membership. The program costs $15 per year but includes tons of other perks.
While the PS5 bundle is not available to everyone, PowerUp Rewards Pro members will be able to purchase one. The program entitles PowerUp Rewards Pro members to exclusive perks, which include first dibs on new console stock. It’s worth noting that PowerUp Rewards Pro membership doesn’t guarantee you’ll be able to buy a PS5 during the restock, however. There will be a limited supply of PS5 bundles, so be sure to sign up for them as soon as possible.
Restocks occur at various times, but GameStop tends to restock its PS5 at 11 am ET and 10 am PT. Despite the high volume of PS5 orders, GameStop’s restocks don’t typically happen on weekends. In the past few months, restocks for PS5 at participating GameStop stores have averaged eight per store. If you want to buy a PS5 in person, check back on the day before.
Target restock
If you’re looking to buy a PlayStation 5, you’re likely wondering if Target will restock the PS5 GameStop. Luckily, Target is one of the few places that regularly restock this console, and you can usually get it online and pick it up in-store on the day it’s restocked. If you’re looking to buy one but are worried about waiting in line, Target has an alternate plan: restocking the PS5 digital edition in two waves. The standard edition goes up first, and the PS5 digital edition follows a few days later.

It’s important to note that Target restocks PS5 consoles each week, and they’ll likely do it again on Friday. The PS5 is often dropped at 7 am ET on Thursdays and Fridays, so if you’re looking to buy one, Target might be the store to hit. But you don’t want to count on this restock to happen today!
First, make sure you’re logged into your account and have all your address and payment details saved. Target’s normal credit card processing fields are often hit during restock times. PayPal’s servers are much more robust, so you’ll likely be able to get one of these consoles. It’s a good idea to make sure you’re checking out on different devices to be safe.
Walmart restock
If you’ve been waiting patiently for the PS5 to come back to the market, you’re in luck. On June 2, Walmart will begin restocking the PlayStation 5. To get first dibs, you’ll need to become a member of Walmart Plus. It only costs $15 per year and comes with perks like free delivery and in-store pickup. Subscribe today for the best deals.
While Walmart doesn’t usually announce its restock dates ahead of time, the PlayStation 5 will be available to members of its online loyalty program, Walmart+. This free trial allows you to be notified of upcoming PS5 restocks in advance of the public. While the restock dates may vary slightly across stores, you can count on Walmart to restock the PlayStation 5 regularly.
Best Buy has not restocked PS5 consoles in three weeks, so you should be on the lookout for a new drop. Amazon and GameStop usually drop new PS5 supplies every two weeks or so. The Best Buy website updates every half-hour in Eastern Standard Time. The next restock of PS5 consoles is expected on January 27. Target no longer synchronizes its PS5 restocks nationwide, so you can check availability in your area before purchasing.
